2 Corinthians 5:7

For we walk by faith not by sight.

If we could but see eternity,

Our heavenly home,

Our glorious Savior with arms outstretched

Ready to embrace any and all who proudly wear His name

On their Christ procured, salvation given breastplate of righteousness.

If we could but see the great cloud of witnesses that are waiting for us at the heavenly gates

Cheering us on to the finish line

Would fleeting earthly circumstantial perplexities

Even bother our mortal frames of dust made humanity?

May we have splendid souls of stalwart strength and faith

To help us victoriously soar over

Mountains, Valleys, and the quicksands of compromise

As we victoriously and triumphantly walk with Christ

Through this transitory world that is not our home!
